i succumb to my first taste of chinese food. previously, i had been very vocal about
my refusal to eat chinese food, claiming it always looked the same. i believed, since
there is no discernible "shape" to most of the dishes (unlike, say, a hamburger, which
has a distinct and beautiful shape), chinese chefs could stick your meal in an old boot
or a hobo's neck sore before pouring it into your takeout container. i have
no idea why a chinese chef would want to do this, but the CAN was far more
important to me than the WHY.
